Quail & Prairie Chicken Hunt Offering (Native Birds only): 3
Day Hunt; 4 Nights Lodging & Meals Included. The
Pilgrim family members, who own and operate the farm and cattle ranch, will
conduct the Quail & Prairie Chicken Hunt Offering. We will strive to provide
a rewarding hunt. 1.
Fee: $450.00. A deposit of $225.00 will guarantee reservation.
Balance due upon arrival. 2.
Quail & Prairie Chicken hunting begins Dec. 12, 2006 and ends
January 31, 2007. This is a native bird hunt. There are no planted birds. 3.
Hunters may bring their own dog(s); or use resident dogs that are available on the ranch. 4.
Site Locations: Pilgrim Ranch private 3,000 acres in Chase County, Kansas (east-central). 5.
Guide Assistance: Drop off and pickup close enough for walk-in to hunting
areas. 6.
Lodging Accommodations & Meals for 3 days and 4 nights: On premises
Bunkhouse stocked with breakfast and lunch foods. Home cooked evening meals will
be provided. Any special diet request will be accommodated. 7.
Lodging accommodations are smoke free. Alcohol beverages are restricted. 8.
Extreme care to not cause grass or timber fire in the field is essential. 9. A Kansas Hunting License is required These are sold over-the-counter at many retail stores. Hunter Safety Certification regulations shall be met. The blazer orange requirement is mandatory. 10.
The hunter shall read and sign an Rental Agreement, Release, and Acknowledgment

We
have observed as many as 6-10 quail coveys spread over 3,000 acres. Because of
the rivers, draws, woods, and tall prairie grass, it is always a rewarding
challenge to locate and bag a few birds. Prairie chicken and quail are
combined into the same hunt.
